Holy shit! I'm sitting in a cafe on the plaza of the Sydney Opera House, looking at the Queen Mary 2 docked in front of me in Sydney Harbor, listening to a quartet of strings playing classical music, having a bite to eat and glass of wine......never in my wildest dreams. And, I snagged tickets for Saturday's performance of Madama Butterfly, amazing. Can't do this shit in Stafford, Virginia, haha!

Kinda bummed, a little. Hit a hiccup with my Indian Visa but the consulate here in Sydney is being super helpful, just takes a little more time than originally told which means I'm "stuck" in Sydney until the U.S. Embassy clears me to visit India, so complicated! I was hoping to head to Cairns by Tuesday next week but might have to hang here in Sydney a little longer than I thought. Keep telling myself if this is the worse issue of my travels, I'm super lucky!! Patience, need to practice patience.

WTH??? Tonight? I picked the wrong damn day to leave Melbourne, crap! Magic Mike night!!

 This guy is sound asleep in the tree! They sleep about 20 hours a day. I'd fall out of the tree if I fell asleep in one, lol

Finally, pics from Phillips Island, very rural area south of Melbourne full of seals and Blue Penguins. We watched hundreds of these little penguins waddle up from the beach to return to their burros at nightfall. We were not permitted to take pictures, the flash startles them. They were adorable, about the size of bowling pins, coming ashore after the threat of getting picked off by a bird of prey. They would waddle, run,waddle, run just talking up a storm the whole time! I had the best time experiencing this!!
