Look what I found at the Eiffel — at Tour Eiffel.
l Tower! My 'seester', Kathy Tudor Wilkes. Looking forward to tearing up Europe with her!

June 3 - Paris, France

Workers dismantling the panels loaded with locks from the bridge

Frank T Dulong, here's a better shot of your relative's name on the Eiffel Tower. That is such a cool story you told me. When I walked past the tower this afternoon, I looked for his name and there is was, how cool. I feel pretty special knowing you now! 😊 — at Eiffel Tower Paris France.

A statue of our George Washington. The French built this statue in his honor shortly after our American Revolution. He is considered a hero by the French for two reasons: He fought the dreaded/hated British 😊 and he represented the classic fight of the "common man" against the "privileged class." I was quite surprised to find a statue of George Washington in Paris, who knew?

And lastly, I got tickled at Lilly Wood's co-star, lol, alrighty, "It's a party!"

Didn't take me long to find the sidewalk bakery and indulge! Warm cookie, whipped cream and coffee, ahhh!

June 1
PARIS!!!! Flew over 9,000 miles, 8 time zones and 3 continents and I made it! Still pinching myself, can't believe after all these years I'm really here. I feel like a kid in a candy store!!

I went out again to the Great Barrier Reef, and the results were much better this time. Like they say, it's location, location, location. We plowed through some pretty rough water to get to the Outer Reef, several people on the boat didn't fair too well. Those little 'throw up' bags were heavily in use! I've never gotten sea or air sick but I came close this time. Boy, the things I do to get to the things I want to see! Between a few hair-raising terrible flights and the nautical equivalent today, I probably should get my head examined. High choppy seas made for quite a roller coaster ride but it was all worth it! My pics still aren't as good as the ones in the picture books but what my eyes saw was amazing!!!

No telling what you'll find in the water, lol.

This guy was right under my feet, scared the crap outta me when I looked down! He was about 4' long!

Where we dropped anchor, right in the middle of the reef.
