Hindu burial and prayer ceremonies on the Ganges River in Varanasi, India. At first I was a little creeped out by the thought of watching the ceremonial burning of the dead but it turned out to be a very moving/emotional/spiritual experience. We boarded boats to observe the ceremonies. The fires are the individual burnings, the following pics of the public prayers. Quite something to experience.
