Made it to Bangkok via the Red Eye, tail is dragging!
— at Suvarnabhnmi Internationl Airport (BKK).
......two weeks in Thailand, then China for 2 weeks
...... First, the suitcase wore out and I'm not too far behind it. I am loving everything I'm seeing and doing, the amount is intense and I just can't walk away and take a break, afraid I'll miss something really great. The week in Bali, chilling on the beach, is looking really good, I think I will really enjoy that.
...... I'm going to Ayutthaya, Sukhothia, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Phuket, it's going to be a great 2 weeks!

Heading back to Delhi, then Bangkok!!
— at Tribhuvan International Airport.
My hair feels like a straw broom, ugh, months of exposure to all kinds of water and other airborne crap so I treated myself to an appointment at a Nepalese Beauty Salon. Best 2 hours I've had in months, hair is soft again, I feel like a new woman!

Traveled up the mountain (only 7,000 ft) but still terrifying as we shared a one lane road with on coming traffic heading down the mountain, came within inches of the edge of the road/ditch and a 7,000 ft roll down the hillside, scary!!!!

April 21 Varanasi

Hindu burial and prayer ceremonies on the Ganges River in Varanasi, India. At first I was a little creeped out by the thought of watching the ceremonial burning of the dead but it turned out to be a very moving/emotional/spiritual experience. We boarded boats to observe the ceremonies. The fires are the individual burnings, the following pics of the public prayers. Quite something to experience.
